Amanda Lux was born in Seattle and lived in both New York and L.A. before settling in Olympia, WA in 2005.
Artistically, Amanda has mostly been inspired by her dreams which she paints in both acrylics and oils.
For the past seven years the majority of her paintings have been part of a cumulative oracle deck project that is soon to be released. "The Queen Bee of the Hive" hanging at Cheeky Martini Lounge is one such painting.
In addition, Her current body of work in this years Art's Walk features an abstract collection based on meditations of home and the infinite beauty within the often dreary Northwest winters called, "Silver Linings."
