"Uncaged Art" presents art made by unaccompanied immigrant youth who were detained at El Tornillo Detention Center in Texas. Photographs of paintings, drawings and sculptures show the resilience and creativity of young people living in tents and locked behind fences, who made art to keep their hopes and spirits alive.

Uncaged Art is presented by Olympia community members, to focus our attention on the struggles of immigrant children and adults who travel thousands of miles to the U.S. seeking a better life for themselves and their families.
