Ross Matteson

A selection of sculptures from 1989 - 2024 made by Ross Matteson.
Ross Matteson is an Olympia based activist and artist with work in 17 countries. Regionally, his public pieces include the sculpture "Windstar" (Olympia Port Plaza), "Salmon Pole Monument" (The Evergreen State College) and "Reflecting on Peace and Justice - A tribute to Rachel Corrie" (The Evergreen State College). This rare local Olympia Art Walk's presentation will feature pieces from Ross and Genny Matteson's private collection as well as recorded information about other recent projects. He will be at the Christian Science Reading Room only Friday evening.
