The Top 4 Most Pleasant Ways To Get To Arts Walk

Bus it!
Intercity Transit is fare-free. Hop on and go or use their handy-dandy trip planner.
Bike in!
Then park it with a bike rack Downtown or with an Intercity Transit Bike Locker. Route guides available using Thuston County's Bike Map.
Stroll in!
If you like, you can take the bus on your trip home.
Park and go!
Park your car outside the downtown core and travel the last few block in on-foot. Make sure to look for street closure signs and bagged meters when you arrive. There is so much going on that we need to clear the streets, and towing cars is absolutely the last thing we want to do!

Spring Street Closures April 26 & 27

A number of Olympia's downtown streets will be closed for Arts Walk and the Procession of the Species Celebration. If you plan on driving to the event, please make sure not to park along any streets marked with no parking signage to avoid being towed, because no one needs that!

4th Ave, Capitol Way, and State Ave will be open to through traffic. Expect traffic delays and heavy pedestrian traffic throughout downtown Olympia during event hours of Friday, 6-10pm and Saturday, 12-6pm. Click the link for a complete list of streets and the dates and times their closure will be in affect.
