Attend

Arts Walk takes place twice a year, each one different from the next. However, one thing attendees can always expect is a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and the arts! Artists, makers, and performers showcase a wide range of art forms—from exhibits and events to interactive activities—at hosting businesses throughout downtown Olympia and transforms the area into a bustling hub of creativity that stretches for miles, offering an experience you won’t want to miss!

PLANNING YOUR ARTS WALK EXPERIENCE

Create your own Arts Walk Adventure using the itinerary feature, which users can save upcoming events and activities of interest to. The itinerary can then be emailed, printed or remain saved online, and includes a map and schedule of the prioritized events.

The Top 4 Most Pleasant Ways To Get To Arts Walk

Take the Bus!
Intercity Transit is fare-free - just hop on and go! Planning a route is easy with tools like IT’s trip planner or the transit option from Google Maps.

Bike in!
Bike Racks are stationed throughout Downtown, or bring a lock and store your bike in a Secure Covered Bike Locker at the
Olympia Transit Center.
Find a route with the Thurston County Bike Map.
Bonus! If you like, put your bike on a bus and get a ride for the trip uphill!

Stroll in!
If you live nearby, consider walking or rolling into town. Several of Olympia’s neighborhoods are within a mile of Downtown. And bonus! If you want, you can take the bus on your trip home.

Park and go!
Park your car outside the downtown core and travel the last few blocks in on-foot. Make sure to look for street closure signs when you arrive. There is so much going on that we need to clear the streets, and towing cars is absolutely the last thing we want to do!

For a map of available parking downtown, visit the city's Where Can I Park page on the City of Olympia website.
