ement & acrylic on thermocol | exhibits 4/29-5/6I create fountains because the soothing sound of water has always been a source of calm for me. I thought, why not bring that tranquility into people’s lives in a way that’s both functional and beautiful? Naturally, my fountains became colorful - because that’s just who I am. I’ve enjoyed exploring different shapes and designs, creating something unique. Each piece urges one to pause, listen, and enjoy the simple pleasure of color and sound.

Gabriel Newton repurposed/upcycling | mixed media | exhibits 4/9-5/6
Gabriel is an artist and Orca advocate. He grew up on the rim of Rock Creek Canyon, a tributary of the Snake River in Idaho and has now lived by the Salish Sea, home of the Southern Resident Orcas, for over 20 years.
Last month, Gabriel kayaked over three days from Seattle to Olympia to deliver hundreds of postcards from WA citizens and to gift an original piece of his ‘orca artwork’ to the Governor that is part of his 46-piece collection.
He's asking Governor Ferguson to respect Tribal treaty rights and support removal of the lower Snake River dams which kill Chinook salmon that are one of the main food sources for these orcas.
Come to witness his beautiful art on flotsam found on the Salish Sea's shores and sign the petition online to encourage the removal of the lower four snake river dams.
