Our Aikido dojo is more than a martial arts school - it's a Community dedicated to harmony, respect, and lifelong growth. Through the peaceful practice of Aikido, students of all ages learn confidence, focus, and compassion - skills that extend far beyond the mat.
Aikido Olympia has grown out of an Aikido tradition begun in 1971 at The Evergreen State College by Hirata Yoshihiko Sensei, a student of the founder of Aikido. Aikido Olympia has existed at our current location for over 15 years and is going strong, providIing instruction in Aikido for people 7 yrs and older.
