Come enjoy art, craft, music, and sacred space transporting the viewers/listeners into a sense of wonder and mystery.
Guest Organists: Our sanctuary will feature music on our historic organ, manufactured by Reuter Organ Company of Lawrence Kansas, and installed in 1929. Two gifted local musicians will play the organ at 2:30 and 4:30 on Saturday.
Guided tours of our stained glass windows will be offered on Saturday 1:45 and 3:45. The windows were installed in 1928 and crafted by Belknap glass Company of Seattle, founded in 1907 by Charles Belknap. Belknap created art for the World's fair in 1909. In 1938, upon his death, he willed is company to his 40 employees who continued their work in the northwest and beyond until the 1980s.
Folk Music & Commentary: Friday evening at 6:00 folk music and commentary will be offered in the sanctuary by John Von Almen.
Friday and Saturday local artists will offer art based on themes
Into the Fae Wilds - Art Inspired by Faerie: A celebration of whimsy will include Hillary's Huggable Hens (fabric/fiber comfort hen art) and offerings from Emely Von Almen, Nicole Cohoon and friends that lead us into the fae wilds, featuring art inspired by faerie. In addition, a collection of miniature fairy houses created by Karen Ferguson will be displayed.
The PNW Experience and the Natural World: Artists include landscape painter Lisa Di Marzo, landscape and nature photographer John Von Almen, as well as local poet Judy Bushell and her nature inspired poetry.
