Elizabeth Castro, "It's the Water-Colors!", watercolor

For Fall Arts Walk, Oly AHA will feature Elizabeth Castro's watercolor landscapes, paired with the stories of how water shaped Olympia as part of Oly AHA's "It's the Water" exhibit.
Castro's watercolors depict our beloved Pacific Northwest mountains, lakes, oceans and forests. She has been an Olympia resident for 20+ years and a public servant for the State of Washington for 15 years.

Oly AHA always has free admission and a publicly accessible bathroom. Visitors can explore Oly AHA's three galleries featuring exhibits about Olympia's arts, cultures and history. "You Are Here" tells the story of the museum's site and what has occurred here over time. "The Evergreen Effect" is curated by Evergreen student interns and explores the relationship between Olympia and this unique college. "Paint the Town" is a celebration of Olympia's downtown murals and the roles they play in our community. "It's the Water" tells the story of Tribal Canoe Journey and other stories related to our local waters.
